Since our founding in 2016, we’ve been bringing people together around the table with our hand-crafted, gourmet pot pies—made with the freshest ingredients and a lot of heart.

As an entrepreneur for much of my life, I’ve run several businesses, but when I moved to Michigan from northern Virginia, I knew it was time to turn my love for making food into something more.

As a child, I loved pot pie, so I set out to create a delicious recipe like the one I used to eat. After 6 months of trying different recipes, I made a Chicken Pot Pie for my family and my son, Steven, exclaimed when he ate it, “This is the best pot pie I have ever eaten!”, and I knew that I had the perfect recipe. 

What started at farmers’ markets quickly grew into a nationwide passion. In 2020, Great Lakes Pot Pies® opened a storefront continuing to bake quality pot pies that are healthy and convenient.  As a family-owned business, my two sons are involved in various aspects of Great Lakes Pot Pies® and we view our team as part of the extended family. As a family, we are all committed to making savory pies, sweets treats and snacks that let our customers enjoy homemade comfort in every bite.
